Christ: Nativity -- Virgin Mary and Joseph the Carpenter, holding crutch or staff, both nimbed, kneel with joined hands raised beside Christ Child, nude, with crossed nimbus, with right hand to his mouth, emanating rays, laying on towel on straw. Behind in shed are ox and ass. Rays emanate from above toward the Christ Child. In background is distant landscape.
