Christ: Pietà -- Body of Christ, crossed nimbus with crown of thorns, bleeding from wounds, wearing short diaphanous loincloth, reclines on lap of Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled with wimple. Her right hand is around His back, holding His right shoulder; her left hand holds His left arm. They are flanked by two angels, nimbed, one with right hand on His right shoulder, the other holding his feet. Behind them are instruments of passion including column, cross with titulus INRI and three nails, two scourges, hammer, spear, pincers, three dice and sarcophagus. Buildings are in distance.
Margins decorated with border of foliate rinceaux, and foliate and floreate ornament.
