De Mulieribus Claris: Scene, Medea with Jason and Scene, Aeëtes mourning slain Apsyrtus -- At right, Medea, wearing hennin, her left hand grasping his right arm, walks with Jason, wearing hat, carrying walking stick (?) with left hand. At left, Aeëtes, crowned, holding severed right hand with his right hand, bends over severed limbs, head and torso of Apsyrtus. Two men, one orant, wearing hat, and the other wearing cap, with left hand on breast, stand behind Aeëtes.
