Month, Occupation: May -- Woman, wearing headdress, sits on ground and plays lute. To right stand woman, wearing headdress and dress with fur cuffs, looking towards and holding the hand of young man, wearing plumed hat, with sword sheathed at waist, his head inclined toward her. Behind them is wall of espaliáered greenery.
Zodiac Sign: Gemini -- In blue cloud at upper left are two nude male figures embracing.
Initials KL with floreate ornament.
In lower margin are looped, knotted cords connected to gold frame around miniature and text.
