Christ: Flight into Egypt -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, sits sideways on ass and holds with both arms swaddled Christ Child, nimbed. Walking and holding reins of ass is Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, holding rod with bundle over left shoulder. Scene in landscape with stream and trees, all within initial D decorated with foliate ornament and three cherubs.
Margins decorated with foliate ornament and flowers, including rosebuds.
