Upper zone:
Virgin Mary: Coronation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, crowned, raising right hand, sits beside Christ, nimbed, crowned, raising right hand in blessing and holding globe in left hand. Behind them, two angels, nimbed, hold up cloth of honor.
Lower zone:
Virgin Mary: Death -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, lies on bed with eyes closed and arms folded across chest. Behind bed, Christ, crossed nimbus, raises right hand in blessing and holds nude soul of Virgin Mary in left hand. Flanking him are apostles, nimbed, some veiled, some holding books.
Scenes against tooled gold background within painted frame from which sprout leaves.
