Miniature:
Shepherds: Annunciation -- One of two shepherds, wearing hood, holding staff with right hand, raises left hand toward gold arc of Heaven below which is written GLORIA IN EXC[ELSIS]. The other shepherd, wearing hat, holding staff with right hand, kneels on ground. Behind them are sheep, within wattle fence. Beyond fence is another figure and hills.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament, including, strawberry, viola, thistle and rose, and inhabited by fly and bird.
