Christ: Piet³l -- Christ, with crossed nimbus, wearing short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, with eyes closed, lays in lap of Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, with joined hands raised. Flanking Mary are Evangelist John, nimbed, supporting head of the Christ, and Mary Magdalen, nimbed, wiping her eyes with cloth held in right hand and holding ointment jar in left hand. In background are two ladders leaning against tau cross with titulus inscribed INRI.
Margins with foliate and vinescroll ornament, inhabited by two fantastic animals, one two-headed and the other winged.
