Magi: Adoration -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, sits with both hands supporting nude Christ Child, cross-nimbed, raising right hand in blessing and lowering left hand to vessel in extended hands of eldest Magus, bearded, partly kneeling beside crown in foreground, accompanied by crowned and bearded middle-aged Magus, holding round vessel with lid and youngest, beardless Magus, wearing crown over turban-like headgear, with right hand holding covered vessel with conical lid and raising left hand, all before wattle-fence in shed; star in cloudy sky above. Margin, upper left: Mask issuing from foliate ornament. Margin, lower: Half-figure of angel, nimbus as rays, hovering amid foliate ornament with both hands extended to stems. Margins decorated with foliate and floreate ornament, including roses. Text is from Lauds on Feast of the Epiphany (01.06).
