Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, is seated on draped throne. She supports with right hand, nude Christ Child, rays as cross nimbus, touching His feet with her left hand. Six angels flank the throne, two only partially visible. Background of decorated columns and pairs of lancets. Text below miniature is beginning of prayer to the Virgin, O intemerata.
