Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, with crossed nimbus, wearing short loin cloth, with head inclined, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus inscribed INRI. Flanking the cross are Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, with joined hands raised, with head turned away from Christ, and Evangelist John, nimbed, with right hand raised, holding closed book with two clasps in left hand. Patterned parti-colored background. Above is arc of heaven. Margins with floreate ornament.
