Initial D, decorated with foliage and cornucopia, is unfinished. In upper margin, medallion enclosing God, as half-figure, crossed nimbus, both hands raised, holding globe in left hand. Flanked by foliate ornament enclosing winged heads. Foliate ornament in right margin decorated with vases, cornucopias and unfinished medallion, and inhabited by half-figure of angel playing lute, winged heads, winged bust of woman. Magi: Adoration -- In lower margin, Virgin Mary, nimbed, is seated holding on her lap, nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus, extending his hands to one of three Magi, two holding containers, one with back turned. In background, stream with city on left shore, with bridge over the stream.
