Pilate: washing Hands and Christ: before Pilate -- Amid group of three men, wearing hats and soldiers, Pilate, wearing hat, seated on bench, clasps hands over basin; youthful servant stands before him holding pitcher over hands of Pilate. Christ, nimbed, wearing white robe, holding staff with both hands, looks back over right shoulder toward Pilate. Man grasping rope around neck of Christ, walks out of door.
