Christ: bearing Cross -- Soldiers, one carrying titulus INRI, walk behind Christ, rays as cross nimbus, bleeding from wounds in head, carrying cross on left shoulder. Another figure, backturned is at right. Veronica of Rome, nimbed and veiled, kneels before Christ, holding sudarium on which is imprint of His face.
