Initial P enclosing Christ, cross-nimbed, emitting rays, with right hand raised in blessing and with left hand holding cross-surmounted tripartite globe; in room with tiled floor. Decorated initial at beginning of Pater noster. Miniature, column: John Baptist: preaching -- Beneath rays, John Baptist, nimbed, wearing belted garment of skins, with joined hands holding scroll inscribed POST ME UENIT UIR QUI ANIME FACTUS based on John 01:15; recumbent lamb at his feet; flanked by two groups of men, all wearing hats or headgear; scene in hilly landscape. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figures of two prophets, one with right hand holding scroll inscribed SIC ORAUIT, and the other with left hand holding scroll possibly inscribed PATER NOSTER (left).
