Virgin Mary, crowned, is seated on turf bench, holding with right hand on lap, nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus, extending his left hand to flower held in left hand of Mary. They sit amid rays in cloud-edged mandorla, above which heads are visible.
Margins decorated with border of floreate rinceaux, some emerging from corners of frame enclosing the text.
Beginning of Introit for votive mass for Virgin Mary.
