Divina Commedia, Purgatorio: Scene, Examples of Humility -- Dante, wearing hat, stands with Virgil. Before them are examples of Humility, including Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, seated with joined hands raised before archangel Gabriel, nimbed, kneeling; and David, crowned, dancing beside Ark of Covenant, on cart pulled by two oxen. Michal stands to left, turned away from David.
