Beginning of I Timothy.
Apostle, Paul: Charge to Timothy -- Paul, nimbed, sits on foliage of decorated border, outside of decorated initial P. He raises his right forefinger and with his left hand holds scroll upon which is pseudo-inscription. Within decorated initial P, tonsured man extends hands toward bishop, nimbed, wearing miter, holding crozier with right hand and raising left forefinger.
In lower margin is hybrid animal and nude man aiming bow and arrow.
In right margin is cock (rooster).
