Christ: Presentation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, extends Christ Child, cross-nimbed, nude, toward Simeon, nimbed, wearing miter, draped arms extended. They are standing before draped altar above which is lamp. Behind Virgin Mary are two men, wearing hats and holding candle, Joseph the Carpenter holding dove in each hand and Anna the Prophetess, nimbed, holding candle. All are within vaulted church, windowed, framed by poly-lobed arch.
Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament. Within border, barbed quatrefoils enclosing male figure wearing hat, with hands draped, bird, fantastic animal wearing miter, animal, possibly.
Added probably after 1451, heraldic shields of France, France impaling Savoy, Savoy, Savoy with label of three points impaling France in barbed quatrefoils in corners of margins.
