Amos: as Shepherd -- Amos, seated, raising left hand, extends rod held in right hand to touch one of five (?) sheep with ram; tree is in center.
Scene within initial U decorated with foliate ornament and with foliate extender.
Margin:
Gold balls, and vine decorated with balls and foliate ornament, surmounted by hybrid bird with human body holding scimitar, and terminating in foliate medallion.
Beginning of Amos.
