Scene, Liturgical: Veneration of Host -- At left is draped altar on which is monstrance displaying wafer (host), flanked by two candlesticks. Kneeling before the altar are pope, wearing cross-surmounted triple-crowned tiara; two kings and one queen, all crowned, all with joined hands. Fifth figure, man, only partially visible at right.
Red background decorated with gold scrollwork.
Margins decorated with border of floreate rinceaux, some emerging from corners of frame enclosing the text.
Beginning of Introit for votive Mass of Holy Sacrament.
