Abraham: delivered from Fire of Chaldees -- Half figure of Abraham amid flames, raises his arms, grasped by half figure of Christ-Logos, crossed nimbus, in cloud edged arc of Heaven.
Caption, DOMINUS LIB(ER)AUIT ABRAHAM DE HUR CALDEO(RUM) I(D) (EST) DE IGNE, is inscribed above scene.
Text reference, GENES(IS), is in upper margin.
Right column:
Lot: Wife turned to Salt -- Angel, nimbed, stands before opening in tower, at top of which are flames, and indicates woman, veiled, right arm raised, looking back at the angel, the lower part of her body a pillar. Scroll above her head is inscribed UXOR LOTH. Behind her three men, wearing hats, face opposite direction.
