Virgin Mary: Visitation -- Angel, with arms crossed on his breast, stands behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, extending her arms to Elizabeth, nimbed, wearing wimpled veil, extending her arms to the Virgin. Scene in landscape with trees, mountains, tower, castle, house, and sun, emanating rays in sky.
Margins with ivy-rinceaux, foliate, and vinescroll ornament, with four medallions in corners:
1) Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, sits holding open book with both hands (reading), inside house. Angel hovers to right. Diapered background.
2) Zacharias: Scene, unidentified (?) -- Zacharias (?), wearing turban-like headdress, sits on chair with open book with pseudo-inscription in his lap. Before him is desk with another open book with pseudo-inscription. Diapered background.
3) Virgin Mary: Visitation, Journey -- Angel walks behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, clasping book to her breast with both arms, in landscape with trees and sky.
4) Virgin Mary: Visitation, Abiding -- Angel stands behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, standing beside Elizabeth, nimbed, wearing wimpled veil, gesturing. Diapered background.
