Amid six dogs, two wearing collars, Pierre de Bosredont, wearing hat with feather, tunic with decoration of small silver Maltese cross, sword at waist, spurs, holding lance in right hand and reins with left hand, is astride bridled, saddled horse.
Figure in landscape before two hillocks, behind which is body of water, castle surmounted with heraldic banner with the arms of Pierre de Bosredont (quarterly vair and gules), hill with bushes and two towers, all below starry blue sky. Miniature among Suffrages.
Margins decorated with floreate ornament including strawberry, inhabited by rabbit, hawk, and dog. In right margin, monogram of initials A and P linked by love knot. In lower margin, heraldic shield of Pierre de Bosredont (quarterly, vair and gules) flanked by stag and deer. Border inscribed with motto of Pierre de Bosredont, DI CHOSSON DE NIBORO and name, P DE BOSREDONT.
