Christ: Flight into Egypt -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, seated sideways on bridled ass, holds Christ-Child, rayed-cross as nimbus, wearing cap. Joseph the Carpenter walks to right of ass, along road. On hill above road is building in ruins. In background, road continues into landscape towards river, on which are boats, and city. On hill above city is castle.
