Confessio Amantis: Scene, Darius, Sultan of Persia, seeking Wisdom -- First of three wisemen, Zorobabel, right hand raised, holds with his left hand, right arm of woman wearing butterfly headdress and gown lined with vair; the second, Manachaz, holds bowl containing wine with right hand and raises left hand; and the third, Arpaghes, holds crown with both hands. They all stand before Darius, crowned, wearing fur lined robe, seated on throne with canopy (?), gesturing toward them with right hand and holding scepter with left hand.
