Psalm 069 (Vulg., 068) Initial S of Saluum enclosing half-figure of Christ, nimbed, with right hand raised in blessing and with left hand holding tripartite globe. Beneath Him, David, crowned, nude, reclining on drapery, with both hands raised, both against gold background; the initial’s ascender extending across left, upper, and right margins partly formed by dragon-like hybrid animal biting frame and terminating in foliage; the descender extending across left, lower, and right margins on which are confronted rabbit and dog, the dog with raised paws on the rabbit’s ears, the whole terminating in foliage.
