Left column:
Christ: Harrowing of Hell --Two horned devils are atop crenellated tower; another devil appears in window of the tower, all amid flames. Door of the tower leans at left. Emerging from flames in the tower are three men and one woman, all nude. The foremost is Adam, inscribed ADAM, raising his right hand; his left wrist is grasped by right hand of Christ, crossed nimbus, body partially draped showing wounds, carrying with left hand cross-staff with cross-inscribed banner.Right column:
