Zone 1:
David: in Cave at Adullam -- Servant, wearing broad hat, with spear in left hand, stands beside horse and holds its reins at mouth of cave. David in mail with sword, greets five men wearing tattered caps and hose, before trees and plants. Illustration of I Samuel 22:1-2.
Zone 2:
Saul: Ahimelech slain -- Two men stand behind Saul, crowned, seated on throne with footstool, with spear in left hand, extending right hand toward man holding staff in left hand.
