Christ: Deposition -- Body of Christ, showing wounds, with rays as nimbus, wearing short loin cloth, is taken down from cross with titulus by Nicodemus, standing on one of two ladders, with right hand under right arm of Christ, and by Joseph of Arimathea, wearing hat, with arms draped in shroud holding legs of Christ. To left is Evangelist John, nimbed, standing with joined hands raised behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, with hands raised. Pincers and hammer on ground. Scene in landscape with city of Jerusalem in distance.
Floreate margins inhabited by two birds, with portcullis (emblem of Henry VII ?) in left margin.
