Christ: Crucifixion, stripped of Garments -- Soldier, wearing helmet, raising club in right hand, his right foot on cross on ground, faces Christ, rayed cross as nimbus, with crown of thorns, wearing short loincloth, bleeding from wounds on head and torso. Behind Him, man wearing hood, with sword and buckler at his waist, removes garment from Christ. They are flanked behind by Virgin Mary, wearing wimpled veil, with joined hands, and Evangelist John, both nimbed, and by group of men holding weapons including halberd and spear. Scene in landscape with hills and city in distance.
Margins decorated with floreate ornament. In lower margin, monogram of initials A and P linked by love knot. Text, Suffrages.
