Christ, Virgin Mary and John Baptist -- Christ, raising right hand in blessing and holding globe in left hand is flanked by Virgin Mary, crowned, seated with joined hands raised, and John Baptist, nimbed, wearing skins, seated with joined hands raised. Below is group of nimbed saints. Scene is within decorated initial E.
Top and bottom margins are decorated with floreate borders. In lower margin is cross-surmounted escutcheon with arms of Jean Coeur (azure, three hearts gules, on a fesse or three escallops argent), flanked by scrolls with inscription MORIR COVIE(N)T SOVE(NT) ADVIE(N)T ET NEN SOVIE(NT).
