Virgin Mary: Visitation -- Virgin Mary and Elizabeth, both nimbed and veiled, extending hands to each other in initial D. Initial decorated with foliate ornament descending to lower margin. Text is collect for first Vespers on 06.24, John Baptist, Birth. Augustine of Hippo, as bishop, wearing miter, seated holding open book with both hands, within initial P decorated with foliate ornament. Ornament descends to lower margin, becoming vines. Two putti climbing on the vines. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on 06.24, John Baptist, Birth.
