Christ: of Sorrows -- Surrounded by clouds, Christ, rayed nimbus, wearing loincloth, displays wounds (Man of Sorrows), standing within mandorla, on ledge in front of which are half figures of Virgin Mary, nimbed, wearing wimpled veil, hands crossed at breast, and Evangelist John, nimbed, with joined hands raised.
Scene framed by border with donor, kneeling on cushion, with joined hands raised before open book on prie-dieu beneath canopy. Figure within architectural setting of church (?) interior. In lower right corner, dog, with collar, lies on floor.
