In initial P, Christopher of Lycia, leaning on walking stick held in right hand, holding cloak with left hand walks through water. He looks back toward his left shoulder on which is Christ Child, cross-nimbed, raising right hand in blessing, holding globe with left hand. On far shore, hermit, holding lantern, emerges from opening in building.
Initials on gold backgrounds and decorated with ornament of rinceaux.
