Vitalis of Ravenna: Martyrdom -- Standing beside pit, two men, both wearing hats, one holding staff (Paulinus?), converse. Two men, one wearing tunic inscribed A.E., throw Vitalis, nimbed, wearing loin cloth, into pit. His garments are on ground beside him. Man with spade stands beside pit looking down.
