George of Cappadocia: slaying Dragon -- In initial D, George, nimbed, wearing armor, with tunic inscribed with red cross, is astride bridled horse, whose front hooves stand on tail of dragon. George stabs dragon on ground with lance held with both hands. Princess of Trebizond, wearing headdress, with joined hands, kneels behind him.
Nicasius of Reims: Scene, carrying Head -- In initial I, Nicasius of Reims, nimbed, bleeding from top of head, wearing bishop's vestments, carries crown of his head, indicating tonsure with left hand.
Initials on gold backgrounds and decorated with ornament of rinceaux.
