Confessio Amantis: Scene, Swearing to uphold Laws of Lycurgus, King of Athens -- Lycurgus, crowned, wearing robe and mantle lined with vair, gesturing with both hands, is seated on throne looking toward three men, one wearing long fur lined tunic and the others wearing short fur lined tunics, all with right hand on book. Fourth man, wearing tall brimless hat and fur lined tunic stands at right.
