Virgin Mary: Death -- Christ, holding Personification of soul of Virgin Mary, with joined hands, appears in mandorla of rays of light, flnaked by three rows of angels. Below, Virgin Mary, veiled and wimpled, lies on bed, eyes closed, hands crossed over abdomen. Twelve apostles are gathered around her, some kneeling, some with joined hands. Apostle Peter, holding candle, wearing stole (?) crossed on breast, looks up toward Christ. Evangelist John, holding palm branch in left hand, places candle in hands of Virgin Mary. Apostle Peter is seated with open book with pseudo-inscription on lap.
