God, as half-figure, crossed nimbus, raising right hand in blessing, holding scroll with left hand, enclosed in initial O, decorated with foliate ornament extending into left margin and to lower margin. Text is collect in first Vespers for 7.2, feast of Virgin Mary, Visitation. Virgin Mary, as half-figure, nimbed and veiled, touching with right hand, foot of nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus, supporting Him with left hand. Figures enclosed in initial B decorated with foliate ornament ascending and descending from the initial. Text is first lesson in first nocturn for Matins on 7.2, feast of Virgin Mary, Visitation.
