Virgin Mary: Birth -- Infant Virgin Mary, reclines, with head on pillow on draped cradle with Anna, veiled, crouching at head of the cradle and Joachim, wearing hat, standing at foot.
Scene caption, ORTUS BEATE UIRGINIS MARIE, is inscribed in upper margin.
Right column:
Jesse: Tree -- Jesse reclines with head on pillow and with vine sprouting from breast. David, crowned, holding fleur de lis scepter with right hand and harp with left hand is on vine just above Jesse. In nest atop the vine, pelican pierces breast for three (?) young.
Scene caption, UIRGA IESSE, is inscribed in upper margin.
