Christ: Crucifixion, nailed to Cross -- Christ, crossed nimbus, with crown of thorns, wearing short diaphanous loincloth reclines on cross. His arms are stretched to ends of the cross by two men with ropes; two men hold ends of rope binding His feet to the cross and another hammers nail into His right hand. Of four soldiers looking on from behind a wall, one holds spear, two hold halberds, and one holds open book (?).
Scene in landscape with trees, rocky outcrops, and city or castle in background, all below blue sky with gold stars.
Margins decorated with border of foliate ornament and rinceaux.
