Top margin with fire-breathing dragon (emblem of Henry VII ?).
Margins with five vignettes in architectural framework (described top to bottom):
1) Mary of Egypt, nimbed, covered by her hair, stands holding three loaves.
2) Ambrose of Milan, nimbed, wearing bishop's miter and vestments, stands with right hand raised in blessing and holding crozier in left hand.
3) Pope Leo I or Julius I, wearing triple-crown papal tiara and vestments, sits on throne with right hand raised in blessing and holding cross-staff in left hand.
4) Carpus of Thyatira (?), nimbed, wearing vestments, stands holding open book in both hands.
5) Month, Occupation: April -- Young woman extends wreath to extended hand of second woman. Both sit on ground in garden with flower trellis.
