Magi: Adoration -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, is seated holding nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus on her lap. He extends right hand to vessel held with left hand of Magus, holding cover of the vessel with his right hand, kneeling on one knee before Virgin Mary and Christ Child. Beside him, the other two Magi, wearing hats, each stand holding vessel in right hand, one draped, looking toward each other.
Background of gold vine scroll in miniature. Miniature and text framed on three sides by rectilinear bars of gold decorated with red and blue sections of geometric or foliate ornament. Margins decorated with a border of vine scroll.
