Christ: Circumcision -- Joseph the Carpenter, hooded, and Prophetess Anna (?), wearing turban-like headdress, flank Virgin Mary, veiled, holding nude infant Christ Child over small round table. Standing opposite the Virgin Mary is mohel, wearing hat, with his hands on the Christ Child. Another man stands with the mohel.
Margin with floreate ornament, with animal mask and bird in upper margin and vignette in lower margin:
Scene, Occupational: Child-tending -- Woman sits with swaddled infant on her lap before fire in fireplace with hanging tongs and bellows. Beside her is basket of cloths.
