Christ: Last Judgment -- Within initial H of Heere, Christ, unnimbed, in mandorla, partly draped with mantle, bared breast showing wound in side, is seated on arc, with right hand raised in blessing, flanked by busts of Eve and Adam, possibly nimbed, with joined hands raised, all in cloudy arc above grassy landscape, out of which emerges half-figures of three nude souls from their graves, one in center with hands raised, one woman, with hands covering face; two unfinished characters in background.
Initial H and text enclosed by border decorated with knotted interlace at corners and beginning Seven Penitential Psalms.
Margins decorated with floreate and foliate decoration, including daisies, and inhabited by half-figure of musician, possibly angel, playing horn (upper right), and bas-de-page illustration of monkey, seated on stool, operating distaff and spindle (Scene, Burlesque: Spinning).
