Christ: Presentation -- Beneath canopy, Virgin Mary, scalloped nimbus, extends Christ Child, cross-nimbed, nude, over altar toward Simeon, wearing cross-inscribed miter with infulae, dressed as high priest in starry cope, with draped hands extended towards Him. Behind the altar, Joseph the Carpenter and cleric, wearing cap, stand in front of decorated hanging. Flanking them are, at left, woman wearing turban-like headdress with veil, and at right, two men, one wearing turban-like headgear and one, wearing hat, wearing decorated garments. Scene in room with tesselated background and tiled floor. Margins decorated with foliate and floreate ornament. Miniature at beginning of Hours of the Virgin at None.
