Month, Occupation: April -- Man, wearing hat, is seated on cushion on ground, playing harp. Woman, wearing tall hennin, sits facing the man holding flower with right hand, resting left hand on cloth (?) on her lap, on which are stones (?).
Figures sit within three sides of turf-topped wall, in landscape with trees and blue sky.
Margins decorated with border of floreate and foliate ornament inhabited by birds and fantastic animal.
