1) Roman de la Rose: Hypocrisy -- Personification of Hypocrisy, name inscribed PAPELARDIE in rubric, wearing nun’s habit with wimple, kneels with rosary over joined hands raised in prayer before altar draped with cross-inscribed cloth on which is crucifix.
Figure against spiraling filigree background within blue frame of miniature decorated with foliate tendrils on two sides.
Above miniature in left column, rubric label, PAPELARDIE.
