Shepherds: Annunciation -- Of three shepherds, one sits in foreground playing bagpipe. Two look up, one sitting on ground, wearing hat, holding staff with left hand, shielding eyes with right hand. The other, wearing hat on back, stands holding pedum with left hand, shielding eyes with right hand. The two look up toward half figure of angel on cloud, holding scroll inscribed PUER NATUS EST NOBIS ET.

Initial D decorated with foliate ornament.
Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament including fern, columbine and viola.
